Dr. Spencer:
- Conducts organizational climate surveys and assessments to understand employee's opinions and perceptions of workplace culture and dynamics.
- Conducts diversity and sexual harassment prevention training programs.
- Investigates specific claims of discrimination and harassment.
- Helps organizations develop diversity and sexual harassment policies and initiatives.
- Coaches and counsels individuals accused of discrimination and sexual harassment, as well as, individuals who feel that they have been discriminated against or harassed.
- Speaks and serves as a panelist at programs addressing discrimination and sexual harassment issues.
- Serves as an expert witness in discrimination court case.
- Mediates and resolves conflicts and problems arising out of discrimination and harassment claims.
- Counsels organizations on how to effectively manage personnel decisions resulting from discrimination and harassment claims.
Prior to establishing, James Spencer and Associates, Dr. Spencer built his reputation as a Psychological Clinician and as a Human Resources expert with seven years of internal experience at the Director level.
Dr. Spencer has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, a M.Ed. in Counseling from Northeastern University and a B.A. in Psychology from Wilberforce University. Dr. Spencer is an advisory Board member of The Family Center, board member of CitySkills Inc. and the Wheelock Family Theater.
