JOANNE ZITEK
Joanne Zitek is an organization development consultant, who helps corporate, nonprofit and government clients with organization change. Joanne specializes in board development, diversity and global intercultural issues. She has consulted to corporations in the financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, high technology, publishing, energy, consumer products, communications and food industries. She has also consulted to the U.S. and foreign governments, and to healthcare systems, higher education and other nonprofit organizations. Her background includes human resources development, organization development, management, board development, community relations and facilitation of international cross-cultural and business activities.
Formerly, as Manager of the BoardBank of the United Way, Joanne provided board development services to over 55 organizations, assisting many of them to diversify racially and ethnically. At Fidelity Investments, as Director of Management Development, she created and managed a system that developed all new managers for Fidelity's national investor center network, in addition to other assignments. At Bank of Boston (now Bank of America), she managed the design, development, implementation and evaluation of large-scale development systems to support the business strategy. She has also held positions in the food and utility industries.
Ms. Zitek holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an Ed.M. from Boston University.
